Our YMCA Child Care staff, volunteers and donors help build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. We encourage you to get involved to create a healthier community.

Volunteers
First and foremost we are a volunteer organization. At the YMCA, your time and talent go a long way. If you are interested in a volunteer role to share your skills and interests with the Child Care Division we would like to talk to you. Examples of volunteer opportunities include the following.  

• Help raise funds to support families who can not afford the full cost of child care
• Provide administrative support

• Assist in a class 

You can also fill out an Online Volunteer Form or  Volunteer Application. Please take a moment to acknowledge the recipient of the 2009 Volunteer of the Year award.

Strong Communities Campaign
Each year YMCA Child Care raises funds to provide reduced fees for families that can not afford the full price of child care, before and after school programs and summer camp through our Strong Communities Campaign. We need your support as a volunteer fundraiser and / or as a donor. View the Year-round Brochure for more information.
